HideNSeek Can Save You From Embarrassing Moments Android Users!

Okay, I mainly try to blog about the free applications available for Android users but today I'm going to introduce some of you to a fairly cheap little application that can save you from some very embarrassing moments.

HideNSeek is a simple little application that shows up in your applications directory as a flashlight. Tap to open the application and your home screen lights up like the North Star helping you see what you previously could not. But in reality the app is doing just the opposite and hiding media files (pictures, audio and videos files) that you don't want others to see! Say what you may about the files that people are sharing across the airways these days but in this growing world of media sharing mobile owners are receiving files that can be very private at times. But with HideNSeek you can protect these private files.

Tapping the menu button three times while in HideNSeek's flashlight mode will bring up a small password box. Once you've programmed your password enter it and see the applications real functionality.

Highlight any file while in this section of HideNSeek and it will no longer show up in the typical areas that you find pictures, audio and video files. So if you hand someone your phone they won't be able to access the files that you have blocked in your gallery or any other program that accesses your media files other then HideNSeek. When you want to access any of these files just enter your password and view, listen or watch. I like this application and for some of you it's probably a must have application

You can get Andrew Schwimmer's application for $1.99 on the Android Market by scanning the barcode below.
